Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in the engineering sector in British Columbia. Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make an impact on major industrial and mining projects? Our client is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their Vancouver-based engineering team.
Working within a multidisciplinary EPCM environment, you will lead electrical engineering and design activities, mentor junior professionals, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects ranging from large-scale capital developments to operational support initiatives.

A typical day:
- Lead electrical engineers, designers, and CAD personnel through project execution
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers-in-training and design staff
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, and equipment packages
- Review vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Develop conceptual designs, studies, technical reports, and proposals
- Coordinate with clients, project teams, and engineering leaders to deliver projects on schedule and within budget
Requirements:
- Hold an Engineering degree and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada
- Bring 7+ years of electrical engineering experience within industrial or EPCM project environments
- Demonstrate experience supporting mining, mineral processing, or heavy industrial projects
- Possess strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Be proficient with electrical engineering software including ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, ASPEN, and SPELEx
- Exhibit excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
