A typical day:
- Lead electrical engineering deliverables to meet project scope, schedule, and budget requirements
- Prepare technical documents including calculations, specifications, drawings, studies, and reports
- Coordinate engineering activities and provide guidance to electrical engineering team members
- Review engineering documentation, shop drawings, and interdisciplinary project deliverables
- Support construction activities, vendor coordination, and Factory Acceptance Testing
- Monitor engineering progress and contribute to project reporting, quality, and corrective actions
Requirements:
- Hold a BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering
- Maintain Professional Engineer registration with APEGSD
- Demonstrate 8+ years of electrical engineering experience on industrial projects
- Possess strong knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and design best practices
- Use AutoCAD, MicroStation, and data-centric design systems effectively
- Exhibit strong communication, organizational, leadership, and project coordination skills
