This full-time permanent Quality Control Chemist position supports BIOVECTRA, part of Agilent's Advanced Manufacturing Partnerships Division. You will analyze pharmaceutical materials using instrumental techniques, maintain laboratory records, and support quality control activities. The position also involves calculations, instrument calibration, sample tracking, and documentation for material release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, PCR, and electrophoretic analyses
- Maintain accurate, real-time laboratory activity records
- Calibrate instruments and document routine maintenance activities
- Complete material release paperwork, labels, and certificates
- Identify out-of-specification results and alert supervisors
Requirements:
- Diploma from a recognized Chemical Technology program
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related discipline preferred
- Laboratory instrumentation proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines is an asset
- Availability for rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
