AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for upcoming projects in Southwest Ontario. This role requires 10-12 hour shifts for four days a week, ensuring your expertise is fully utilized.
As an Industrial Electrician, you will provide troubleshooting and maintenance for plant equipment and facilities. Key responsibilities include installing and repairing electrical systems, understanding schematics, and programming PLC systems. Your skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems will be essential in achieving operational efficiency across various assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment efficiently
- Perform maintenance on fans, pumps, and auxiliary systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately
- Install and troubleshoot relay logic and control components
- Run power lines to service equipment following safety codes
Requirements:
- Valid 442A certificate required
- Minimum 1 year in industrial electrician role
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with SAP preferred
- Strong mechanical and organizational skills necessary
