We're looking for an experienced Red Seal Plumber to join our team working on commercial and institutional projects across the Ottawa area, including schools, government buildings, and other large facilities. You'll be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems while working closely with site teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to code.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems.
- Work on new construction and renovation projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Complete layouts, rough-ins, and final installations.
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems independently.
- Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors.
- Mentor apprentices and support their development.
- Ensure all work meets safety and code requirements.
Essential Skills:
- Red Seal Journeyman Plumber.
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.
- Experience with water distribution, drainage, and DWV systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities on site.
- Valid G driver's license with a clean abstract.
- Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Backflow prevention experience or certification.
- Experience working in schools, government, or institutional facilities.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
