We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our growing aviation team in Calgary, AB. This role will support avionics work on CL aircraft as projects arise, including troubleshooting, wiring, crimping, splicing, testing, and equipment installation. Depending on project requirements and availability, you may also perform bench work and will be assigned to project teams based on your experience.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot avionics components and systems on aircraft.
- Perform wiring, crimping, splicing, and equipment testing.
- Install avionics systems, components, and equipment.
- Conduct bench work as required.
- Work collaboratively within project teams to complete assigned avionics work.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of avionics experience.
- 5+ years of experience working on Dash 8, Twin Otter, or CL-series aircraft.
- Strong experience with avionics troubleshooting, maintenance, and soldering.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Qualifications
- AME-E licence or ACA certification.
- Experience working with Garmin systems.
- Previous MRO experience.
Work Environment
- Location: Longview facility, Calgary, AB.
- Facility consists of approximately 100 employees.
- Work within project teams of approximately 48 people.
- Overtime available as required.
Shift
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM.

Job Type & Location
- This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
