Tunnel surveying expertise supports Scarborough Transit Connect’s subway extension in Scarborough, with Civil 3D and construction layout skills central to the work. As a Surveyor, you will support TBM, SEM/NATM, station, shaft, cross-passage, and track installation activities. The position focuses on accurate measurements, control networks, alignment verification, and construction documentation. You will work within project procedures, quality requirements, and health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily surveys supporting tunnel and station construction activities Verify alignment, excavation profiles, and construction layouts Maintain tunnel control networks and survey control points Support TBM and SEM/NATM excavation verification surveys Collect, process, and document accurate survey data Requirements:
Post-secondary education in surveying, geomatics, or related disciplines Three to five years of construction surveying experience Experience with Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, and Leica Captivate Proficiency operating total stations, GNSS receivers, and digital levels Ability to work safely in underground construction environments Apply tunnel surveying, control networks, and alignment verification expertise to the Scarborough Subway Extension with Scarborough Transit Connect.
