Lead civil construction activities for Aecon in Fredericton, coordinating concrete, structural, and rehabilitation work across the powerhouse area. The Powerhouse Lead (Civil) directs assigned construction scope within Aecon’s Major Projects East operating sector. This position requires civil construction experience, concrete structures knowledge, and coordination across mechanical, electrical, and operations teams. Work takes place within existing facilities and requires careful planning around site constraints. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead civil construction activities within the powerhouse area Coordinate concrete, structural, and rehabilitation works Manage interfaces with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams Oversee subcontractors and monitor resources, costs, and schedules Plan around access restrictions, safety requirements, and existing facilities Requirements:
Degree or diploma in civil engineering or construction Equivalent experience may be considered Experience managing civil works in industrial or hydroelectric facilities Strong knowledge of concrete structures and rehabilitation works Ability to manage technical interfaces and site constraints Bring civil construction leadership, concrete expertise, and interface coordination to Aecon’s powerhouse work in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
