Shape AECOM’s electrical practice across Southwestern Ontario through team development, delivery planning, and leadership of complex infrastructure systems. As Electrical Department Manager, you will represent Kitchener/London within AECOM’s national electrical practice. The work spans medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, controls, and related systems. You will coordinate local, regional, national, and global teams while supporting sustainable, energy-efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Set direction for staffing, workloads, quality, and capability Lead electrical design delivery across diverse market sectors Oversee power, lighting, life safety, and control systems Collaborate with office managers across the national practice Champion sustainable, energy-efficient, future-ready design solutions Requirements:
Licensed Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario Electrical design and delivery experience in consulting environments Eight relevant years with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent Technical expertise in medium-voltage and low-voltage systems Ability to lead effectively within a matrixed organization Bring electrical systems expertise, practice leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination to AECOM’s hybrid Southwestern Ontario team.
