Job Title: Production Machine Operator - Aluminum Finishing
Location: Burlington, ON
Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday | Straight Days (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) or Straight Afternoons (3:00 PM-11:00 PM)
Job Summary
The Production Machine Operator - Aluminum Finishing is responsible for the efficient, safe and productive operation of the Anodizing Line and associated equipment.
Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate overhead hoists to move aluminum racks through the finishing process.
- Follow work orders and process parameters to achieve the required finish.
- Monitor tank solution levels, temperatures, cathodes, and rinse tanks.
- Verify work orders and parts are correctly identified before processing.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and promptly address water spills.
- Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues and assist with preventive maintenance.
- Record process parameters accurately and report work order discrepancies.
- Organize production to maximize efficiency and output.
- Identify and recommend process, quality, and safety improvements.
- Follow company quality standards and all applicable Ontario health and safety regulations.
- Participate in team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Safe Operator Hoist Training
Experience and Skills
- 2~3 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills
- Organization skills
- Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and flexible approach to work
