Design security-focused RTL at AMD in Markham or Austin, using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and verification methodologies for complex SoC subsystems. Influence scalable hardware solutions. AMD's Security IP Design team develops embedded microprocessor subsystems and accelerators supporting security, cryptography, compression, DMA, and power management. In this RTL Design Engineer position, you will carry designs from functional specifications through implementation and optimization. Partner with architecture, verification, implementation, emulation, and post-silicon teams while pursuing functional and design-quality closure. Key Responsibilities:
Create RTL implementations and associated design methodologies Debug simulations using C-DPI testing and regressions Evaluate coverage and resolve technical design challenges Review specifications, define test plans, and influence testbenches Provide technical leadership in architecture and problem resolution Requirements:
Knowledge of traditional and AI-powered RTL verification methods Experience with C-DPI based verification techniques Understanding of datapath accelerators and FPGA emulation Familiarity with ASIC debug, lint, synthesis, and timing analysis Degree in electrical, computer engineering, computer science, or related field Bring security hardware, RTL implementation, and verification expertise to AMD's embedded subsystem development teams.
