The Moving Van Driver transports goods using straight trucks, including vehicles weighing over 4,600 kilograms with three or more axles. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, dispatch communication, and complete vehicle oversight. Local and short-haul transportation experience applies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods exceeding 45 kilograms
- Operate straight trucks for local transportation
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Provide professional customer service during moves
Requirements:
- AZ or DZ class license
- One to less than seven months experience
- Valid driver's licence and manual transmission experience
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check
- Steel-toed safety boots, tools, and cellular phone
