Key responsibilities
- Strategy delivery, operational delivery & execution: Partner closely with Strategy colleagues; bring their media strategy to life through actionable, channel‑agnostic planning and activation roadmaps. Develop tactical media mixes. Manage daily workflows; manage priorities to ensure campaign planning and activation are delivered on time and to quality standards. Translate account plans and direction into actionable schedules and task lists for yourself and the team. Step into hands‑on campaign execution (planning, custom creative management, QA) to resolve issues or deliver priority activations. Support Strategy colleagues to prepare client‑facing operational content (test summaries, implementation playbooks, execution timelines) and support creation of POVs or proposals.
- Day-to-day account management (detailed): Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients on assigned accounts. Manage meeting cadence: prepare agendas, run weekly operational check-ins, capture decisions and action items, and distribute timely minutes. Own status reporting. Intake and manage briefs/change requests: validate requirements, coordinate resourcing, set timelines and ensure accurate routing for approvals. Maintain a risk & issues log for each account; drive remediation plans and elevate unresolved/high‑impact issues to direct report. Oversee creative/asset handoffs and trafficking timelines; confirm creatives are delivered to spec and on schedule. Coordinate approvals and sign‑offs with clients and internal teams to protect timelines and deliverable scope. Track and manage delivery SLAs, turnarounds and escalation paths; proactively recommend contingency options when timelines slip. Support client onboarding and new campaign launches. Ensure all account documentation is current and accessible. Assist with client invoicing checkpoints, budget reconciliations and billing queries; flag financial variances.
- Quality assurance & process execution: Maintain and apply QA checklists, briefing standards and delivery governance to reduce errors and rework. Identify operational friction and propose practical fixes; implement approved process updates to improve consistency and throughput.
- Stakeholder coordination & client support: Serve as the primary day-to-day operational contact for internal partners to keep execution moving. Prepare routine status updates, operational dashboards and campaign health reports. Support client calls and presentations with operational briefings and material; elevate strategic or high‑risk issues.
- Support for innovation & new business: Contribute to pilots and proofs of concept by executing tests, capturing results and operationalizing repeatable steps as directed. Support pitches and RFPs by preparing tactical, execution-ready media plans and evidence of operational readiness.
Scope & typical scale: Accounts: 1 large line of business within an enterprise account. Budget oversight: varying campaign budgets (operational monitoring and pacing).
Key competencies & skills: Strong operational media expertise across digital, social, programmatic and traditional channels. Solid project management: prioritization, timelines, task tracking and resource coordination. Measurement literacy: ability to run A/B tests, read attribution outputs and prepare clear reports. Effective communicator with experience coordinating across internal teams and vendors. Strong presentation skills. Strong long‑form narrative writing skills. Critical thinking. High learning agility. Detail‑oriented and pragmatic problem solver with a bias for getting things done.
Experience & qualifications: 4–6 years in media, integrated agencies or related delivery roles with hands‑on campaign execution and some people management. Proven experience improving delivery performance through process, QA and coaching. Degree in marketing, communications, business or related field preferred.
Success metrics (examples): On‑time, on‑budget delivery and QA pass rates. Campaign KPI delivery (CPA/ROAS, reach/frequency, brand metrics as applicable). Team operational health: utilization, turnaround times and retention of direct reports. Timeliness and clarity of status reporting and escalation to the Associate Director.
