Maintain product reliability through component qualification and technical investigation. This Electronics Specialist role supports existing building management products and production continuity. You will investigate electronic issues, manage obsolescence, and deliver improvement projects. The work includes circuit analysis, component qualification, validation, and collaboration with R&D, Quality, Test, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify electronic components using equipment-specific reliability plans
- Investigate production and field-reported electronic issues
- Analyze measurements, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions
- Support circuit board revisions through validation and implementation
- Document test results, decisions, limitations, and component information
Requirements:
- DEC in Electronics Technology, Industrial Electronics, or equivalent training
- At least 10 years’ relevant troubleshooting, validation, or technical support experience
- Hands-on schematic reading, circuit analysis, and laboratory equipment experience
- Experience with component qualification, obsolescence, or PCB modifications
- Knowledge of analog, digital electronics, components, and Microsoft Office
