Drive electronics reliability through component qualification, obsolescence management, and circuit analysis for Acuity Inc.’s building management products. Support lasting product performance from laboratory investigation through production. As an Electronics Specialist within Sustaining Engineering, you will improve and maintain existing products. Your work will address component risks, simplify circuits, optimize costs, and extend service life. Collaboration with R&D and Supply Chain will help monitor technology developments and manage obsolescence. Key Responsibilities:
Establish qualification plans tailored to equipment reliability requirements Monitor technology developments and proactively manage component obsolescence Maintain component databases and approved component lists Assess technical risks, benefits, and validation requirements Support changes through technical assessment, validation, and production Requirements:
DEC in Electronics Technology, Industrial Electronics, or equivalent technical training At least 10 years’ experience supporting electronic products technically Strong analog and digital electronics knowledge Experience reading schematics and analyzing electronic circuits OrCAD schematic design or PCB layout experience is an asset Use component qualification, obsolescence management, and circuit expertise to strengthen Acuity Inc. product reliability.
