Actalent seeks an experienced Senior Controls Programmer for contract work based out of Oldcastle. Develop and modify programs using Studio 5000, ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, or Omron. Troubleshoot FactoryTalk View and WinCC applications while commissioning equipment, integrating automation devices, and supporting customer launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify PLC programs for automated equipment
- Troubleshoot HMI applications using FactoryTalk View and WinCC
- Perform I/O checkout, device setup, and sequence debugging
- Configure EtherNet/IP and Profinet industrial networks
- Maintain PLC/HMI backups, revisions, and documentation
Requirements:
- Seven-plus years of hands-on controls programming experience
- Strong Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and ControlLogix skills
- Commissioning, debugging, and customer launch experience
- Experience integrating robotics, motion, safety, vision, and networking
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
