Procure equipment, materials, and services for ACCIONA’s ECWE project, using supplier coordination and commercial review expertise. Work across multidisciplinary teams. As Buyer, you will support project-wide procurement for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension SRS package. The work covers RFQs, purchase orders, quotations, delivery tracking, supplier relationships, and procurement records. You will coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, Commercial, and Finance teams. The position requires purchasing experience in major construction, infrastructure, rail, transit, industrial, electrical, mechanical, or systems environments. Responsibilities also include monitoring long-lead items, technical submissions, quality documentation, budgets, approvals, and project closeout. ACCIONA is delivering this 9.2-kilometre Toronto transit extension with Metrolinx. Key Responsibilities:
Execute purchasing activities for assigned procurement packages Prepare RFQs, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and documentation Review quotations, commercial terms, lead times, and compliance Monitor supplier commitments, deliveries, and critical items Maintain procurement trackers, records, reports, and closeout documentation Requirements:
Purchasing experience in major infrastructure or construction environments Experience managing suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries Ability to coordinate technical, commercial, quality, and logistics requirements Strong communication, judgment, problem-solving, and attention to detail Working knowledge of desktop applications and procurement systems Support ACCIONA’s ECWE procurement with supplier management, quotation analysis, delivery control, and accurate commercial documentation.
