We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanicfor our Mining Equip division!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Repair, maintain, and overhaul heavy equipment;

  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components;

  • Perform the repairs required on equipment;

  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment;

• Diagnose equipment problems and malfunctions;

  • Determine the nature of defects and failures in order to assess the extent of repairs required;

• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation;

• Support other mechanics in troubleshooting and problem resolution;

• Complete the required reports and documentation.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:

• You hold a DEP (Vocational Diploma) in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or Automotive Mechanics, combined with relevant work experience;

• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in similar positions;

• You possess strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems;

• You are detail-oriented, curious, self-motivated, and possess strong observation skills and a team-oriented mindset.
