As an Accounting Technician, you will support diverse professionals serving clients across an evolving financial reporting landscape. MNP is a proudly Canadian accounting, tax, and business advisory firm. The position suits entry-level candidates through two years of relevant accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements
- Prepare remittances, filings, receivables, expenses, payables, and payroll transactions
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations
- Investigate discrepancies and develop resolutions with managers
Requirements:
- Accounting certificate or commerce or business administration degree
- Entry-level to two years of relevant accounting experience
- Basic accounting principles and processes knowledge considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
- T4 and T5 preparation experience preferred
