Acadia Broadcasting is recruiting an Accountant for its Head Office Finance team. This opportunity suits someone recently completing or pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. You will work across reconciliations, expense reporting, financial analysis, and audit documentation while receiving support toward the designation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full cycle accounting, recording, reporting, and reconciliation
- Prepare monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Manage corporate credit cards and employee expense reports
- Perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Prepare supporting documentation for audits and reporting
Requirements:
- Post secondary degree in a related field
- One to two years' similar experience or co op experience
- Recently completed or pursuing an accounting designation
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical, organized, adaptable, and detail oriented
