We are looking for an experienced CNC Router Table Operator to join an award-winning company in Oakville, for LED Display manufacturing. This is a full-time role, Monday to Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm - enjoy a 3-day weekend! OR Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday 7:00am-7:30pm (36 hours, increased to 40 hours with perfect attendance). Pay starts at $21/hour and up, depending on experience.
Duties of the role will include:
- Follow and understand safety procedures and company policies including use of personal protective equipment.
- Responsible for the preparation and operation of CNC router table for production requirements.
- Read and interpret production drawings.
- Prepare and load raw materials (typically sheet aluminum) onto router table for processing.
- Ability to load and manipulate .dxf file formats using AutoCAD and router software.
- Responsible for optimizing parts layout to maximize yield for a given sheet size and part flat pattern.
- Perform initial tooling set-up and changeovers.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements.
- Accountable for the deburring of routed components.
- Organize finished goods by grouping and tagging parts by work order number.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance activities on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation of the router.
