Lead production engineering for ABI Auto-Bake Industries Ltd., applying technical oversight and resource planning to automated bakery equipment solutions. This full-time role supports industrial automation delivery. The Production Engineering Team Leader guides engineers and designers while partnering with manufacturing, project management, and standards engineering. The work connects technical designs, project commitments, quality, and customer outcomes. It includes planning resources, improving on-time delivery, and mentoring technical talent across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate engineering resources for on-time, in-scope project delivery
- Lead monthly root cause and countermeasure reviews for delivery
- Provide technical oversight of drawings, calculations, and deliverables
- Coach junior and intermediate engineers and designers
- Partner across manufacturing, project management, standards engineering, and sales
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or engineering technology diploma
- Six to eight years in production engineering
- Machine building or automation environment experience
- At least two years of leadership experience
- Experience tracking KPIs and driving corrective actions
- Bring production engineering leadership, technical judgment, and mentoring experience to ABI’s automated bakery equipment delivery.
