This full-time role supports bakery automation. As Automation Engineering Team Lead, you will oversee production engineering delivery within a machine building or automation environment. You will convert customer requirements into production-ready designs, monitor team KPIs, and address root causes through corrective actions. Collaboration spans manufacturing, project management, standards engineering, sales, and customers. Key Responsibilities:
Plan engineering capacity against project scope and standards Improve engineering on-time delivery and minimize lateness Review technical designs and catch errors early Implement processes supporting the Standards Engineering Operating Model Keep stakeholders informed about designs, status, and risks Requirements:
Engineering degree or related engineering technology diploma Six to eight years of progressive production engineering experience Experience translating customer requirements into production-ready designs Two years leading, coaching, and developing technical staff Working knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma preferred Apply automation engineering experience, KPI ownership, and practical problem solving to ABI’s equipment delivery and standards work.
