Shape technology stories as a Visual Communication Designer at Alberta Blue Cross®, using visual design and multimedia to clarify complex initiatives. Create engaging digital experiences for employees and leaders across the organization. This Visual Communication Designer works in the Information Technology division, translating strategies, roadmaps, data, and technologies into clear visual communications. You will create presentations, dashboards, videos, animations, digital campaigns, and interactive content across internal channels. The work supports technology launches, change management, employee engagement, and IT leadership communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create infographics, presentations, dashboards, reports, and one-pagers
- Develop videos, animations, motion graphics, and visual explainers
- Translate complex technical concepts into engaging visual stories
- Create content for SharePoint, Teams, intranet sites, and town halls
- Use AI tools and prototypes to improve storytelling approaches
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in communications, design, media, marketing, or related field
- Three to five years creating visual communications or multimedia content
- Strong presentation design, graphic design, and content development skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Acrobat Pro, and multimedia tools
- Portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, video, animation, or digital content
