The Strategic Buyer develops sourcing strategies for reliable, competitive, and sustainable materials and services. You will manage supplier relationships, contracts, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and procurement improvement. Collaboration spans Tactical Buyers, Engineering, Production Planning, Quality, Finance, logistics, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sourcing strategies using market, spending, and supplier analysis
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier contracts
- Monitor supplier performance, capabilities, risks, and improvement plans
- Implement sustainable savings and optimize total cost ownership
- Develop alternative sourcing solutions to prevent supply disruptions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business, or related field
