Deliver evidence-based concussion rehabilitation as an Occupational Therapist with 360 Concussion Care in Ottawa, working full-time onsite Monday through Friday.
This Occupational Therapist role supports diverse patients experiencing concussion and persistent post-concussion symptoms. You will provide neurological rehabilitation through assessment, treatment planning, symptom management, and functional recovery. Collaboration with physicians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and rehabilitation professionals supports return-to-work, return-to-school, sport, and daily-life goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy concussion assessments
- Develop individualized evidence-based rehabilitation treatment plans
- Deliver symptom management and functional recovery interventions
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary rehabilitation professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress updates
Requirements:
- Active Independent Practice registration with COTO in good standing
- Strong interest in concussion rehabilitation and neurological recovery
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and education skills
- Ability to work independently within interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
