The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) is accelerating its momentum as the fastest-growing large consumer goods company in North America by putting people at the heart of our business. The Peterborough Manufacturing Plant is a key part of the North American Operating Unit of The Coca-Cola Company/Minute Maid. This pivotal role involves steering the strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of Plant Management—including P&L Management, Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Environmental (QSE), and Operational Excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Position-Related Functions:
- Develop and execute 1-year and 3-year business plans in line with national, regional, and local objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of direct reports while providing inspirational leadership to a large number of indirect reports.
- Ensure that the right level of capability is developed and maintained within the Plant.
- Effectively communicate plant goals and objectives across all levels of the organization.
- Be responsible for ensuring that the Plant achieves its annual business plan and compliance with all The Coca-Cola Company Standards and local regulations.
- Foster a safety-focused environment and promote an engaged safety culture.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and execute mitigation action plans.
- Cultivate a culture that values operational excellence through continuous process improvement.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with company specifications and customer expectations.
- Oversee budget preparation, planning, and financial performance monitoring.
- Lead site audits process and drive compliance with ISO and KORE standards.
Education and/or Experience:
- 10+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- 5+ years' experience in leadership roles for value-added aseptic beverage processing/Fluid Milk or Juices required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Dairy Science, or related field required.
- Experience leading and managing multi-million dollar capital projects required.
- Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of Food Safety Principles and local regulations is an asset.
- Ability to implement fundamental TQM and Lean Manufacturing principles across operations.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
