This Product Development Engineer supports new and existing product lines across development and launch activities. The work combines product and process development, technical engineering support, manufacturing trials, documentation, and continuous improvement. You will address customer, quality, and operational requirements across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion APQP activities and maintain program master timelines
- Coordinate prototype and pre-production component manufacture and approval
- Conduct design reviews with internal teams and customers
- Plan engineering trials and analyze resulting manufacturing data
- Lead quality, productivity, and waste reduction improvements
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in engineering or related discipline
- Manufacturing experience, preferably within automotive environments
- Knowledge of APQP and automotive product launches
- Ability to develop Process Flow Diagrams and PFMEAs
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
