Business Developer

Primary location: HELSINKI

We are looking for a Business Developer for a permanent position in the Market Retail Finance unit. Our workplace is at our Helsinki office, Ässäkeskus, where we meet with colleagues several times a week. Depending on the tasks, you can also work flexibly remotely part of the week.

What kind of tasks are involved? As a Business Developer, you will work in a functional multi-skilled team that develops financial reporting, analytics, process analytics, automation, and AI capabilities. The goal of the work is to improve operational decision-making, ensure the accuracy of financial processes and data, and enhance operations through technology. Your role emphasizes deep expertise in financial and accounting processes compared to other team members. You have experience working in responsible positions in financial management.

You will own a defined financial process or service entity's business development, continuity, and future competitiveness. You set and promote OKR objectives and ensure together with the team that the work produces measurable customer and business value. You will work closely with professionals in technology, analytics, and data, as well as the operational finance organization and business units. You will align the needs of different stakeholders and resolve situations requiring the integration of finance, accounting, technology, data, and customer understanding.

What kind of expert are we looking for?

• A relevant higher university degree (e.g., Master's in Economics)
• At least five years of experience in customer-oriented business development, where analytics and technology have played a key role
• Experience working with AI automation solutions
• Broad knowledge of financial processes and regulations, as well as deep expertise in accounting
• Strong product management skills and experience in demanding business and technology development in a multi-skilled team
• Ability to utilize data, analytics, automation, and AI solutions in decision-making
• Experience with agile development methods
• Fluent in Finnish and English
